
The Hassett Law Firm PLC was founded in 1997 by Myles P. Hassett. Mr. Hassett is originally from Ireland where he earned an honors law degree in 1984 from the National University of Ireland. He then spent three years with the law firm of Ahern Roberts O’Driscoll in County Cork, Ireland.
Mr. Hassett moved to the United States in 1988 and began working for The Ranger Law Firm in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mr. Hassett was admitted as a member of the Arizona Bar in that year. Since then, he has practiced general civil litigation, with particular emphasis on insurance coverage and the defense of insured professionals through arbitration, jury trial and appeal. Mr. Hassett is an AV-rated lawyer and lectures frequently to professional groups and associations, including the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association of Arizona.
Mr. Hassett has appeared as lead counsel for insurers and insurance producers in numerous Arizona Supreme Court and Court of Appeals cases, including the following reported decisions:
Falcon v. Beverly Hills Mortgage Corp., 168 Ariz. 527, 815 P.2d 896 (1991),
Napier v. Bertram, 191 Ariz. 238, 954 P.2d 1389 (1998) and
Webb v. Gittlen, 217 Ariz. 363, 174 P.3d 275 (2008).
Mr. Hassett is also available to act as mediator and arbitrator in a wide range of civil cases and insurance disputes.

Lucas N. Frank operates the firm's office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduating from high school in Roswell, New Mexico, Mr. Frank attended Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University College of Law. Mr. Frank joined the Hassett Law Firm after graduating from ASU with honors in 2003. Mr. Frank's practice has focused on civil trial and appellate litigation, with an emphasis on insurance disputes. He has also taught on insurance coverage and professional negligence issues.
